Australian Taekwondo Champions at Pinnacle Martial Arts in Sydney
Pinnacle Martial Arts Academy in Marrickville, Chester Hill and Penrith is thrilled to welcome new National Taekwondo Australian Champion Gold medalists and Bronze medalists to Pinnacle Martial Arts list of champions!
Our sparring athletes: Nicolas Oueijane, Sleiman Iskandar, Dimitri Dasakis, Fatemehsadat Seyedab, and Fawas Madrajat,
Our Poomsae/ Patterns team: Bassam Hames-Kara-Hassan and Shirshir Shrestha,
together with our amazing team of masters, coaches/trainers, Master Christian Tarlamis, Master Inaam Iskandar, Coach Mohamed Iskandar, Master Mirna Iskandar, Coach Simon Madrajat, and our Poomsae Master Shirshir Shrestha and Grand Master Hassan Iskandar, were all thrilled to embark on the journey to the Nationals in Brisbane on 8 November 2024 all with big hearts and hoping to win gold!
For Kyorugi/ Sparring: Nicolas, Sleiman and Dimitri soared through their fights winning first place and gold medals! Whilst Fatemehsadat won bronze for her fight but unfortunately she was injured before making it to the final round. Unfortunately Fawaz was unlucky and didn’t make it to finals, though we are still very proud of him for making it to the Nationals!
For Poomsae/Patterns: Bassam shined and won gold and Master Shirshir who also competed won bronze due to interruptions in his preperations!
We are so proud of all our athletes and so grateful to our amazing trainers at Pinnacle for this opportunity, particularly Master Christian for all his time and effort as he went above and beyond for the team and our Grand Master Hassan for being the heartbeat of Pinnacle and always giving our kids the best directions!
Also a special thank you to Master/Coach Martijn Oostendorp and Coach Zac Saadat for their help and efforts also preparing our team as well!
We are eternally thankful for love and motivation you feed our kids and will forever remember this moment.
Finally thank you to all our wonderful parents who take the time and effort to bring the kids to training everday even after hard working days and stay focused and committed to their support and motivation of the all our kids.
So it’s onwards and upwards Pinnacle Martial Arts! With such a great club the sky’s the limit! Let’s go Nationals 2025! Our kids are ready to take on the world with you by their side!
