National Champions Crowned in Canberra
Pinnacle Martial Arts Sydney proudly celebrates an extraordinary achievement at the Taekwondo National Championships 2026 in Canberra, where four of our athletes were crowned National Champions in Kyorugi.
Ali Ahmad, Nicolas Oueijane, Dimitri Dasakis and Mikele Chironi stepped onto the national stage with courage, confidence and unwavering determination. Against the nation’s finest athletes, they competed with exceptional skill, discipline, composure and fighting spirit.
Their outstanding performances earned four remarkable gold medals:

Dimitri Dasakis: A Performance of Exceptional Precision
Dimitri Dasakis delivered one of the standout performances of the championships, earning special recognition for Exceptional Performance from Pantheon Taekwondo & Martial Arts Equipment.
Fighting with surgical precision, Dimitri scored cleanly and decisively throughout the competition. In a truly rare display of control and dominance, none of his opponents were able to score against him on the day.
His performance was a masterclass in focus, timing, tactical awareness and championship composure. A powerful reflection of his preparation, discipline and belief.
