The Pinnacle Martial Arts teams in Marrickville and Chester Hill truly live and breathe the sport, having trained many athletes who have competed on the international stage, as well as recreational practitioners who choose to practice Taekwondo to build confidence, fitness, and resilience.

During my time at Pinnacle Martial Arts I was coached by Master Instructor Khedar Iskandar and Grand Master Hassan Iskandar, who tirelessly pushed me to improve on the technical, tactical, mental and physical aspects of my game. With their help I had the opportunity to represent Australia at the Korean Open, Australian Open, and gain selection for the Commonwealth Championships. The Pinnacle Martial Arts team also helped me win Gold medals at Local, State and National competitions.

Training with Pinnacle Martial Arts was a fun and challenging journey of self discovery. I became comfortable with pushing my mental and physical barriers, and realised the importance of respect, teamwork, and resilience in helping oneself reach their personal best. I had the amazing opportunity to train with and meet athletes from around the globe- Jordan, China, South Korea, Uzbekistan- who taught me different ways of looking at the world through their unique cultural lens.

Most importantly the values of respect, resilience, integrity and hard work instilled in me through martial arts will stay with me throughout the rest of my life.

To this day I still keep in contact with the Pinnacle Martial Arts Taekwondo family, and I wish the coaching team and athletes all the best for the future. Thank you to Pinnacle Martial Arts in Marrickville Inner West Sydney for guiding me on this exciting journey.
